Visiting directions

To ensure a pleasant and safe visit to the IVAM, the following recommendations apply to individual visits, group visits, and visits through organized activities.

Access

To access the exhibitions at the IVAM’s Centre Julio González, a ticket is required. Tickets can be issued by the staff at the reception desk or purchased online. Upon request, the ticket must be shown to security or access personnel in the galleries.

For group visits, tickets must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance through the museum’s website, specifying the date and time of the visit. The IVAM will provide a special locker for the personal belongings of each group.

For the smooth running of the visit, groups are limited to a maximum of 30 people, one of whom will be the group leader. For educational groups, the maximum group size is 35 people or the number specified for each activity.

Pursuant to Article 23 of Law 4/2003 of the Valencian Regional Government, the museum reserves the right of admission.

Opening Hours

In order to close the museum on time, visitors will begin to leave the galleries fifteen minutes before closing time, except for visits and activities scheduled outside of regular museum hours.
