The IVAM opens on Monday, October 9, with free admission

On the occasion of the Valencian Community Day, the IVAM will open free of charge on Monday, October 9, to bring the Valencian cultural heritage to the public. The IVAM thus joins the events commemorating the 9th of October.

Visitors who come to the museum can enjoy the program of exhibitions that includes the exhibition In rebellion. Female narratives in the Arab world, which inquires into the artistic production emerged in the Arab countries through the different perspectives of female artists.

The audience will also be able to visit The Abstract Eclosion, with about 150 works of the Museum Collection of artists such as Adolf Gottlieb, Pierre Soulages, Lucio Fontana, Richard Serra, Tony Smith, José María Sicilia, Antoni Tàpies, Elizabeth Murray, Ángeles Marco, Jordi Teixidor, James Turrell. In connection with this exhibition, since last October 4, the IVAM exhibits four interventions by the Valencian artists Sergio Barrera, Nelo Vinuesa, Inma Femenía and Ana Esteve Llorens, within the line of artistic performance called IVAM Produce.
