Tongues & Accents. Poliglotía

The Poliglotía Escuela de Saberes Diversos (School for Diverse Knowledge) invites the public to an open day, in which the works of the Lebanese artist will be considered through the different languages, accents, perspectives and sensibilities of the members of the programme.

We will enjoy a live radio programme with interviews, music and readings in various languages. A review of experiences of the Escuela de Saberes Diversos at the IVAM. Different mediating actions will also be carried out in the exhibition space of Aref El Rayess. Works (1958‒1978). During the visit, we will converse with the artist’s works in ways based on suggestions by members of the programme. The day will end festively with cocktails, music and conversation. No registration is needed and the event is free of charge.

Poliglotía open day will be led by Noemi Neri, Saba Moradi, Neus Berenguer, Isabel Cuéllar, Nicolás Mazzoni, Mariana Bandeira, Carolina Trujillo Rocha, Sun Katalay, José Vaquerizo, Olexandr Pavlov, Francesco Rondelli, Soledad Martín, Nancy Carrillo, Paco Inclán, Sonia Martínez, Irene Llàcer and Gema Gil.

18.00 Mediated activities around Aref El Rayess. Works (1958-1978), by members of Escuela de Saberes Diversos.

19.30 Festive closure of Escuela de Saberes Diversos. Cocktails & music.
