On Sundays: guided tours of exhibitions
These tours are normally addressed to an adult public who is interested in art and are led by professionals of the museum.
It is a didactic visit which is comprehensible in regard to terms and itinerary and which puts the emphasis on some aspects of the exhibitions or the works along the itinerary. They usually last one hour. The tours are amusing and informative, and their objective is to make people enjoy whilst learning and to become a rewarding experience. They are about raising artistic awareness, learning to look, to watch, to find out, to have a aesthetical look. It is all about the concept of museum as a meeting point where one can become familiar with the different forms of artistic expression.
They take place on Sundays at 12:00 pm. Application must be made 15 minutes before the start of the tour at the counter in the IVAM entrance hall. Places limited to 30 participants (allocated by order of application). This is a free activity.
