On 13 December 2022, the regional secretary for culture and sport of the Generalitat Valenciana, Ximo López Camps, and the director of the IVAM, Nuria Enguita, presented the museum’s exhibition and public programme for 2023 at the IVAM.
In 2023, the IVAM Centre Julio González will host 13 exhibitions featuring artists from the international art scene such as Asger Jorn, Otobong Nkanga and Aref El Rayess; as well as the design collective La Nau; a rereading of popular culture within the IVAM collection curated by Pedro G. Romero; and an exhibition on the work of women artists in Spain and Portugal between the dictatorship and the early years of democracy, among others.
IVAM Cada Alcoi will host a major exhibition dedicated to Juana Francés.
In addition, in line with the objective of strengthening cultural links across the Valencian territory, a major exhibition on Josep Renau will be presented at the Museum of Fine Arts of Castelló.
