A Little Big Project came about as the result of an initiative by the IVAM to make the museum a space for coexistence, for collaboration between adults and children and for shared learning among families.
In this second edition of the programme, and through fortnightly art mediation sessions, pairs made up of grandchildren and their grandparents will go to the IVAM after school, take over the museum and turn it into a fine arts school: a place to be together, to share, to learn and to play.
Families will experiment together, as part of a resident family group actively involved in the everyday life of the museum throughout the 2025–26 school year, engaging with a wide range of artistic creation and research techniques, inspired by the museum’s collection.
Closed group for the whole school year. Advance booking required. BOOK HERE
