Through the digital adaptation of our workshop “Pinazo Comes to Life at IVAM!” during confinement, we will learn how to create our own animated sequence with all the characters we imagine, which we can draw inspired by the technical gestures of the Valencian painter Ignacio Pinazo.
In this third video, we explore some mobile applications that will help us become true filmmakers and create our audiovisual clips by combining drawing, sensory scenographies, and stop motion.
This activity encourages us to get closer to the figure of the revolutionary Valencian painter to activate children’s creativity, learn new techniques to use on our own mobile devices (phones or tablets), awaken new tactile sensations through the use of sand and paper, and understand the sequencing of actions in film production. All of this is done through family play, using animation, stop motion, and cartoon drawing techniques.
