Fredy, Asgar, Benito, and Agustín are part of a group of fanatic Atlético Madrid supporters. One day, they receive a call to carry out a task that will shake their unity and peace: they are hired to overthrow the Vicente Calderón Stadium. This triggers an internal debate among the “colchoneros,” where friendship, work, and honor are at stake. Ultimately, necessity outweighs everything else, and they accept the task—though they know exactly how they will deal with Calderón… through a clandestine match.
¿Y a esta rata quién la mata? is the second title in Manuela Lorente’s series ¿Es usted quien creo que es?, in which she builds a story paying tribute to the workers of Madrid and the iconic Vicente Calderón Stadium, weaving images of everyday city life with a new cast of fictional characters, literary references, and cinematic dialogues.
