Premio Bancaja Pintura y Escultura

Bancaja carries out a huge task of promotion and diffusion of the plastic arts, through exhibitions, catalogues, talks, restoration of works of art, aid provided to museums, and many other activities. In all of them the institution’s interest in great names and movements from the past goes hand in hand with unwavering support for new aesthetic trends. The Painting and Sculpture Prize presented by Bancaja belongs to this latter category. Each year this prize draws new artists from different parts of Spain and other countries, attracted by the prestige of the event and the backing of the organisation that promotes it.
