La Mar de Arte

The main aim of this exhibition is to show the history of sailing by means of a variety of items that describe the evolution of the components of sailing vessels, with their navigation instruments, masts and hulls – providing a voyage through the history of art and the design of sailing. It is really about the mutation that the design of sailing ships has constantly undergone throughout 5000 years of Mediterranean culture, and about making it more accessible and understandable.
