Ignacio Pinazo: Estudios e impresiones de la vida cotidiana

Valencian art in the 19th century, described as “the new golden age of Valencian painting”, went through a period of fertile production in which Ignacio Pinazo played an outstanding role. So in this exhibition, Pinazo’s compositions are awesome portrayal of the everyday domestic scenes typical of our land, describing customs, habits, characteristic or representative features of our society with a strong critical component and perhaps a moralising suggestion of social reform.
