Educational workshop Habita(n)ts

The educational workshop HABITA(N)TS, related to the exhibition “Lost in the city. Urban life in the IVAM’s Collection” is based on the idea of deliberately “lost” in order to discover a different city when people walk around.

This exhibition aims to offer multiple views, different spaces and human existences that have shaped cities life in the last century.

A visit and an activity will be carried out to the exhibition. Then, throughout school year, two workshops will be held: September 1 to January and from February to June, interacting with some of exhibition works in order to reconsider the current city concept.

The educational workshops goals are to develop students creativity, to create cultural urban environment awareness through contemporary art, and to enhance people’s awareness with the city in which they live.
