Pop Art at the IVAM Collection

This exhibition has been co-produced by the Sociedad Estatal para la Acción Cultural Exterior [State Corporation for Spanish Cultural Action Abroad], SEACEX, is focused on the European contribution to Pop Art. This compilation is complemented with examples of British and North American art, as well as a series of works by the precursors of Pop Art, the creators who have inherited that legacy and the Spanish artists who have been influenced by this movement. The exhibition covers many different artistic approaches, which contribute to give a wide interpretation to the term “Pop”.
