Georges Braque

An exhibition comprising a retrospective group of sixty works (oils, gouaches, drawings, watercolours, engravings and sculptures) that will reflect Braque’s important periods, such as Fauvism, Cubism, his still lifes, atelier works, etc. In this way, his relationship with the avant-garde movements of his time are reflected from a novel viewpoint, together with his contact with Fauvism and Cubism, by means of reductionist effects of architectural structures to geometric forms, visual illusion and artistic representation of neutral colours and complex patterns, defined as analytical Cubism.
