With an absolute technical mastering and an excellent conception of figurative painting Vicente Peris expresses in “Lunas” [Moons] his personal reflection process about the possibilities of painting that he now combines with photography. While gazing the shop windows of the most important fashion brands, he thought of himself being surrounded by this world embedded with glamour and sensuality. Peris is interested in the change of identity of the individuals looking for beauty, even by resorting to makeup or costumes. His “moons” are based on dreams, but also on the representation of the body of desire.
