Publicado por primera vez en 1974, el ensayo Soundwalking<\/em> de Hildegard Westerkamp se ha convertido en una especie de piedra angular de las pr\u00e1cticas deambulatorias sonoras, sin dejar de ser un temprano indicador de sus inquietudes como compositora y artista sonora. Vinculada al World Soundscape Project de Murray Schafer en la Simon Fraser University, el trabajo de Westerkamp pronto se distingui\u00f3 del de su predecesor, al estar siempre buscando contrastar la teor\u00eda con la pr\u00e1ctica, y al estar vinculada a la investigaci\u00f3n sobre el terreno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este texto es un ensayo tan descriptivo como prescriptivo: es tanto una definici\u00f3n de lo que puede ser un paseo sonoro, como un registro documental de paseos sonoros ya realizados; bien una partitura para posibles paseos sonoros por venir como, a la vez, un texto de indudable car\u00e1cter po\u00e9tico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
