Reconstrucci\u00f3n de 1987.<br \/>\nMadera, metal y otros materiales<br \/>\n415 x 600 x 300 cm<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Richard Hamilton, John McHale y John Voelcker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La <em>Fun House<\/em> es una instalaci\u00f3n que fue concebida para la m\u00edtica exposici\u00f3n <em>This is Tomorrow<\/em> organizada por el Independent Group y celebrada en 1956 en la Whitechapel Art Gallery de Londres. Uno de los rasgos m\u00e1s importantes tanto de la instalaci\u00f3n como de la muestra, fue el desarrollo de un proceso de trabajo colaborativo e interdisciplinar. La idea de collage, muy vinculada al Pop, trasciende la construcci\u00f3n de la imagen y se inserta en los procesos de pensamiento y trabajo. El artista Richard Hamilton, el arquitecto John Voelcker y el tambi\u00e9n artista y soci\u00f3logo John McHale formaron el equipo interdisciplinar creador de la Fun House.<\/p>\n<p>La estructura, creada por Voelcker, fue cubierta por im\u00e1genes a gran tama\u00f1o entre las que destaca la imagen tomada del cartel de la pel\u00edcula <em>Forbidden Planet<\/em> en la que aparece Robby el robot o la imagen de Marilyn en La tentaci\u00f3n vive arriba. Elementos e im\u00e1genes de la cultura popular se mezclan en la instalaci\u00f3n con referencias provenientes de las vanguardias art\u00edsticas como los rotorrelieves de Duchamp, pero tambi\u00e9n con sonido e imagen en movimiento, creando un espacio de experimentaci\u00f3n sensorial.<\/p>\n<h4>Sandra Moros<br \/>\nConservadora<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fun House, 1956.
