IVAM. 2019<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vanguardia de hierro.<br \/>\nCon motivo de los 30 a\u00f1os del Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno, era l\u00f3gico hacer una exposici\u00f3n en torno a Julio Gonz\u00e1lez. Pero me pareci\u00f3 especialmente acertada la que comisariaron Sergio Rubira, Jos\u00e9 Salvador e Irene Bonilla. Con el t\u00edtulo &#8216;<a href=\"\/es\/exposiciones\/julio-gonzalez-y-las-vanguardias\/\">Materia, espacio y tiempo. Julio Gonz\u00e1lez y las vanguardias<\/a> &#8216;, aquella muestra pon\u00eda en relaci\u00f3n la figura fundacional del museo, y sus fondos, con artistas como Picasso, Schwitters, Brancusi, Calder, Lipchitz, Gargallo o David Smith. En una especie de compendio de creadores a los que el IVAM ha dedicado exposiciones a lo largo de su historia, y que se expresaron, como Julio Gonz\u00e1lez, mediante la escultura, aquella exposici\u00f3n era el recordatorio imprescindible de una vanguardia de hierro, las obras de la que, sea con una intenci\u00f3n m\u00e1s figurativa (como la Montserrat, de Gonz\u00e1lez) o m\u00e1s abstracta (como la mujer delante del espejo), aunque son modernas, y siempre lo ser\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adolf Beltr\u00e1n<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>eldiariocv.es<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Materia, espacio y tiempo.
