Wild&Free Festival
3rd edition
The festival offers the best current independent films for youngsters aged from 12 to 18.
The aim is to promote interpretative understanding of audio-visual language on the basis of the fundamental principles of media education. The increase in consumption of audio-visual media is connected with an improvement in the understanding of narrative codes, and thereby we stimulate a critical spirit during youth and adolescence, a very important stage of life and one that is full of changes.
Audio-visual media are vehicles for communication and the transmission of culture. Our objective is to create awareness of the importance and effectiveness that audio-visual teaching practised in an attractive, enjoyable, reflective way offers for the study of academic subjects.
