Educational workshop “The IVAM’s collection. XXV Anniversary”

After seeing the exhibition in a guided and commented way and the collage that exist, before entering the educational workshop, you can see a small video as summary of the exhibition .

In the workshop, the adequate rules about the technique of the collage are given and it is proposed one in the most spontaneous and personal way with the materials available. The “collage” is based essentially in the manipulation of diverse materials used such as raw material such as newspapers, magazines, cartons, papers of colours, fabric, thread, sawdust, wood shawings, plastic ….. A collage will be made with those materials . On a card which is the base and it is used as a flat espace, and after doing a little selection of the magazines and newspapers, it will be cut in different shapes and will be put as every participant thinks in order to stick them on it. Letters a can also be cut and make sentences and create this way an original and imaginative composition.

In another moment, we will work in a three-dimensional collage in two walls of the workshop with objects that every participant brings so that it will remain along the whole workshop and will form a part of the decoration and setting of the same one. Once finished the didactic activity, every participant can take the created collage with him.

From Tuesday to Friday 09:30 to 13:30 h. and from 15.30 to 18:30 h. For school groups and other groups with previous appointment. The workshop last approximately 1h. 30 min. each group.

Sundays 11:00 h., 12:00 h. and 13:00 h. Approximate duration: 1h.

The workshops are destined for all kinds of public: students, adults, occupational centers, families etc.
